Jake lost his first match at Sectionals to a well-seasoned state ranked Senior from Mt. Carmel by a Decision of 8-2. Then he had to wrestle back and win the next 4 matches to earn 3rd place. He won by a pin against Belleville Althoff, a Major Decision against Auburn, a Technical Fall against Pickneyville, and a Decision of 6-0 against Vandalia for the 3rd place win.
