The IHSA announced on March 12, 2020 that it will significantly limit attendance at the remaining games in the 2020 IHSA Boys Basketball State Series, as well as at other IHSA events, to preemptively reduce the potential spread of COVID 19.
In regard to Scholastic Bowl, the IHSA will be limiting Sectional attendance to only the coaches/school administration, competitors, and essential meet personnel. Anyone who does not fall into this category is not permitted to attend the event. The Carlinville Scholastic Bowl team will still participate in the Raymond Lincolnwood Sectional, following the above limitations.
The Country Companies 3-Point Shootout has been postponed. Michael Byots, Carlinville senior, had advanced to this competition and we will announce when it is rescheduled.
The Winter Thaw Indoor Track Meet scheduled for this Saturday hosted by Jersey Community High School at Principia College has been cancelled.
We will provide additional information as it becomes available in regards to schedule modifications or restrictions.
