Capacity at extracurricular event update.

1. For underclass football games, soccer games, baseball and softball games, and track meets, nothing has changed from the announcements that were made last week. Fans of both teams are welcome to come, as it is unlikely that we will reach 25% capacity of our venues. If we do begin to reach that threshold, we would make the necessary adjustments.

2. For conference high school volleyball and middle school girls’ basketball games, visiting teams will now be allowed 50 fans. Starting Monday, we will issue two reusable tickets to each players that can be used at each game. As far as home games, we will be allowing home fans at our games. We are asking that there are no unsupervised children aged 8th grade or younger. We will be playing these games in our high school gym. We are allowed 25% capacity. If we begin to reach that level, we will make necessary adjustments.

3. For varsity football games, tickets will be needed for away games. Our players and cheerleaders have been given our allotment of tickets for tonight’s game in Greenville. As far as home games, fans are welcome to attend. No unsupervised children aged 8th grade and younger are allowed to enter, and children who do enter with an adult should remain with their group. If the total number of fans reaches the 25% capacity threshold, we will have to make necessary adjustments.

In all cases, fans are expected to wear masks and remain as socially distanced as possible. In addition, fans should not expect a concession stand.
